The engagement and public consultation strategy on this project have been developed by UK Networks in consultation with the local planning authority to ensure all relevant stakeholders and interested members of the public are able to review the plans and provide their feedback. A Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) will be submitted with the planning application. The SCI outlines, engagement methodology, all engagement activity, the feedback received and the project team's response to that feedback including how the plans have developed through consultation and engagement.
We are committed to consultation with the local community. There are two stages of the consultation. This is the first stage and is pre-application consultation led by the landowner.
You can take part in this stage and give your feedback on the plans prior to submission of the planning application by completing the online survey.
The second stage is formal consultation. This stage will take place once the application is submitted and will be led by Cheshire East Council who will write to immediate residents and business owners in the local area.
The project team will continue to accept feedback during both stages via this website or by telephone, e-mail and post (see details below).
